A few specific comments on both of the above reviews from my
point of view:

Embarkation for us (we are not Princess platinum) was around
a 30 minute queue at 2:30 in the afternoon - once we hit the desk, we were
then on board after 10 minutes. No worse, no better than many other
cruises we have taken.

Food - we had no issues at all with the quality of the main
dining room. It met our (fairly high) expectations. The Horizon
buffet was adequate for main meals, but no more.

Service - we had no issues, either in the food areas, the
bars or in housekeeping.

Greenland - we queued for around 1 hour for a tender.
The root issue here was the weather (strong winds) delaying arrival by 4
hours and a small port that could only take 1 tender at a time.

Entertainment - we enjoyed most of the entertainment that we
attended. However, I would comment that most of the acts were UK
orientated, and this caused a few "lost-in-translation" moments with the
majority of the North Americans on board.
