Yokohama

The cruise finished at Yokohama, but the flight schedules back to England were much too tight to want to try to catch a plane that day.  Instead, we left our luggage in 2 lockers at the cruise terminal, and spent a day in Yokohama.

We walked from the cruise terminal along the bayside to the Yokohama Port Museum and sail training ship, the Nippon Maru, where we spent a fascinating morning avoiding both the rain and the large number of school parties!

After a quick wander around the rest of the local area (including a few shopping malls), we went back to the cruise terminal, retrieved our luggage, caught a taxi to Yokohama station and the N'Ex back to the airport, for an overnight hotel stay and an early flight home.
