Palamos

Palamos is a small resort town on the Spanish Costa Brava, around 70 miles north east of Barcelona.  Whilst Barcelona was the destination of choice for many people on board, having already been there we decided to visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres instead.  This is a somewhat mind expanding collection of the work of the surrealist artist Salvador Dalí, containing paintings, drawings, sculptures, engravings, installations, jewellery, holograms and photography.  You won't like everything there, but such was the range of work that Dalí produced, you're bound to find something!

We then spent our final afternoon winding down in and around the town of Palamos.
