On such a port intensive cruise, by the time we reached Barcelona, we were starting to flag. As a result we decided to take it slightly easier and sit on the hop-on hop-off tourist bus for most of the day. This was probably a wise move, as Barcelona sprawls over large distances and we saw (briefly) most of the major attractions (Gaudi's architecture, Las Ramblas, and, of course, the Nou Camp football stadium) from the outside. Of all of the ports that we visited on this cruise, Barcelona is the one to which we will come back to for a longer period of time outside of a cruise ship. There are many destinations within the city - museums, cathedrals and so on - that we would like to spend more time visiting in depth. The Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia (exterior)
