Bergen

Bergen (the "Gateway to the Fjords" and "the town between the seven mountains") is the second largest city in Norway, situated on the West coast.  Highlights of Bergen to see on a day trip are the historic Bryggen district (a world heritage site) and the funicular to the top of Floyen.
